If your family loves classic cinnamon sugar donuts, these Cinnamon Sugar Donut Muffins are about to become a new favorite breakfast recipe in your house.

We love a good muffin in our home — but we really love that warm, sweet cinnamon sugar flavor you get from a fresh bakery donut. These easy baked donut muffins combine the best of both worlds into one simple homemade treat.

These muffins bake up soft, fluffy, and perfectly tender, then get brushed with melted butter and rolled in a delicious cinnamon sugar topping. The result? A muffin that tastes just like a fresh cinnamon sugar donut, but without the deep frying.

I first made these on a Saturday morning for my family of four, and they disappeared almost immediately — which is always the sign of a recipe worth saving.

One of the best things about this cinnamon sugar muffin recipe is how simple it is to make. The batter comes together quickly using basic pantry ingredients, and the muffins bake in under 20 minutes, making them perfect for busy mornings or last-minute brunch plans.

Yes, rolling them in cinnamon sugar can get a little messy… but trust me, it’s completely worth it.

These homemade cinnamon sugar donut muffins are perfect for:

• Cozy weekend breakfasts
• Holiday brunch tables
• After-school snacks
• Coffee-and-muffin mornings
• Easy homemade baked treats

If you love bakery-style muffins, cinnamon sugar donuts, or simple homemade breakfast recipes, this one is guaranteed to be a hit.
