  • 2 cups broth (chicken or vegetable)
  • 1¼ cups heavy cream or milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese

How to Make One Pan Mac & Cheese

  1. Warm your skillet. Place a large skillet on the stove over medium heat and add your dry pasta.
  2. Add liquids. Pour in the broth and cream/milk. Stir everything together.
  3. Cook the pasta. Bring the mixture to a boil, then lower to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 8 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.
  4. Season it up. Stir in the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
  5. Make it cheesy. Add the Colby Jack, mozzarella, and Muenster cheeses. Stir until perfectly melted and creamy.
  6. Serve and enjoy! Cozy, cheesy perfection in one pan.

Tips & Notes

  • Use any pasta shape you like—shells, elbows, bowties all work beautifully.
  • Feel free to adjust the seasonings: add extra garlic, more paprika, or even a pinch of cayenne for heat.
  • Want it extra creamy? Add a splash more cream or milk at the end.
  • Amazingly, it reheats well the next day—just stir in a little milk when warming.
