My Story
Hello, I’m Mandy. A busy, working Mom of two, who finally decided to start a blog about the things that matter the most to me. I truly believe that the most important work I will ever do is within the walls of our home.
I am an eighties baby; I adore my two kids (a teen and tween who sometimes drive me nutty!), I have the best, hardworking husband ever. Our home is filled with lots of furry babies, our two English setters (Ranger and Riggs), our crazy cats (Lucky and Maui) and one crested gecko (Fidget, named from the movie “Great Mouse Detective”, not the fidget toy craze!).
I have a real passion for older homes. Ours was built in the 1940’s and I love the plaster walls and original hardwood flooring, even with all of its imperfections. An older home just feels like it has a history, and I enjoy being part of its story.
I am planning to share some stories, tips, and maybe some fails about home, pets, recipes and simply life.
