I always say, I am happy with a good cup of coffee and a library book. There is nothing better than a lazy summer night on the deck with a good book and perhaps trading that cup of coffee for an adult beverage.

Our local library has a summer reading program for adults too and it’s fun to see how many new reads I can get on the list. Adds to the excitement to win a fun prize too!

I picked up “The Secret Love Letters of Olivia Moretti” by Jennifer Probst last week. This is the second book I have read based in Positano, Italy. This was a book focusing in on the dynamics of the relationships between three very different, adult sisters trying to discover more details about their deceased mothers younger years.

The setting of this story makes you want to plan a trip to the Amalfi Coast to soak in the beauty of the area and indulge in fresh pasta and bread. This book successfully depicted how a person you thought you knew (a parent), was truly just a person with their own past, which can sometimes be hard to wrap your head around.

This book was a good read, colorful characters and a fun escape to a different world.
